Christopher
Nour

Principal Physiotherapist

Chris founded Urban Physiotherapy Sports Clinic following several years of experience working with elite athletes, particularly in the area of post on-field injury rehabilitation for tennis and football players. He spent over four years as an on-field physiotherapist managing injuries and rehabilitation, including three years with the Parramatta Football Club. Chris currently sponsors emerging junior tennis and cycling champions as they transition to professional sport internationally, through injury prevention programs run at his clinic.

Chris has furthered his clinical expertise in workplace injuries and the role of ergonomics in musculoskeletal dysfunctions—such as tension headaches, shoulder issues, and lower back pain—by completing a subject in Ergonomics (Masters of Rehabilitation) at James Cook University.

He has consulted with Australia’s leading ergonomic chair manufacturers on optimising design to support office workers and continues to advise top-tier international corporations on achieving their ergonomic and workforce health goals.

Chris consults to the NSW Government across several departments on matters relating to ergonomics, injury prevention in the workplace, and workforce optimisation. His clinical expertise and ergonomic knowledge position him as a sought-after advisor in both public and corporate sectors.

He has a particular interest in identifying the root causes of injury rather than simply treating the symptoms. Chris continues to provide treatment to several sitting Australian Prime Ministers, prominent politicians, international diplomats, and high-profile individuals, including touring celebrities such as Andrea Bocelli, all in a professional healthcare setting.
