Why should you see an exercise physiologist?

Exercise Physiologists aim to provide health intervention through evidence-based exercise to prevent or manage acute, sub-acute and chronic disease or injury. Our job is to assist in improving physical function, health and wellbeing. Exercise Physiologists cover conditions such as:

How will exercise physiology work?

Our Exercise Physiologist will work with you and gain a better understanding of your medical history of your injury or condition/s, they will also look at your current physical capacity and aerobic capacity, discuss what is important to you and what goals you would like to achieve. At Urban Physiotherapy, we have the benefit of having a team of physiotherapist and podiatrist who will work with you and the Exercise Physiologist if required, prescribe an individual custom build exercise program specifically for your goals, capacity and needs.
